Engine Sputtering

Recenty bought a 92 electra glide with a stock CV carb that had been sitting for about 18 months. Drained old gas replaced, fuel line and accelertor pump and cleaned out the carb. Starts and idles great but as soon as you put it in gear and try to move it spits and pops unless you pull the enrichner out.

Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try. I also noticed after pulling the carb the back manifold seal is blown. Front dosen't look bad, but it's getting changed also.

I have had issues with the diaphram getting porous. If you are going to take the carb off it may be worth your while to check the rubber on the diaphram especially where it has a fold or a crease.Good luck, Ron
