Question XB9SX owners opinions?

Any City Cross owners out there? As exciting as the 12X is the 9SX has been getting nothing but praise in the press since it came out last year.

Any owners want to share their opinions? I like the XB12X but I've got a bagger already so something small and quick (and non UJM! ) is attractive.

I had a CityX and now own a Ulysses.

I loved the CityX...I think the 984cc mill is a better engine than the 1203. With the Buell Streetfighter seat, it was reasonably comfortable, but still cramped feeling after 100-150 miles...40+, tendonitis, herniated discs, blah, blah, blah....YMMV.

I was hoping the Ulysses would be a more comfortable version of the CityX, but it's not quite that simple...different geometry, handling, powerplant, etc.

I personally prefer the handling and engine characterisitics of the CityX, but the need for comfort and all day riding capability pushed me to the XB12X.

The only trouble I had with mine was a faulty cylinder head temperature sensor...made the ECM think the engine was running hotter than it was and made the engine run rough after it got hot. Simple fix...new sensor.

On the other hand, my Ulysses has been in the shop for over a week now with a strange headshake issue so perplexing that an engineer from Buell may be traveling to my dealer to personally examine the bike.

As with all questions Buell related, I recommend going here for information...

www.badweatherbikers.com

VTF is where I look for info on H-D's but the BadWeb is THE Buell place.

Good luck.
