no answers??

well I haven't recieved any feedback on the elusive race ecm's for 99-02 lightnings and thunderbolts, so here's another question. Has anybody had any luck using the power commander modules. Most of the buell mechanics I've talked to are against using them. I really don't have any other options other than going back stock, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Power Commander

Hello,

I own a '99 X1 Lightning. Put a Forcewinder intake on, then a Vance & Hynes pipe. After these mod's it had a definite stumble whenever I would get on the throttle especially between 2,000-3,000 RPM's. Got a Power Commander and with some downloading off the PC and slight changes the bike runs perfect. Definately more power and no stumble, EVER.

Been running for about 7,000 miles this way. I have not touched the Power Commander since I got the map right.

Hope this answers your question!
