Were all Buells FI'd ?

Notwithstanding the Blast of course.

In the early years - were Buells ever produced with carbs?

If so, what models / years?

Thanks

The early tubers were all carbureted, the last few years were injected. I have 1 of each, they both scream and are an absolute blast to ride. For the best info, go to www.badweatherbikers.com for probably more Buell info than you care to get. Great site, great job by Blake

The Cyclone M2 was carburated all the way through the 2002 model year...and has shown to be the most reliable fo the tube framed Buells.

A reason I think the '02 M2 is on the short list of best Buell's ever. Well sorted, carbureted (killer exhaust note), ergo friendly, power happy, etc. Oh, and I own one. .

Zero issues with mine.

In the interest of accuracy here's a list of carburated Buells from 1995 forward:

95-96 S2 Thunderbolt
97-98 S3 Thunderbolt
96-98 S1 Lightning (including 1998 S1W White Lightning)
97-02 M2 Cyclone
00-04 P3 Blast

Lots to choose from there.

You name it. I am on my second speedometer, 5th sensor, third exhaust header, second muffler, second front rotor, second rear shock, second clutch cable, second base and head gaskets, second front isolater. The primary gasket has leaked and been replaced 6 times, the rocker covers have both been replace 2 times, my head gasket appears to have failed, yet again (sigh). The horn blows the fuse, and the turn signals don't work in the rain. I just had some tasty new tires put on her last week and they tell me that there are problems with the stator seal, the primary is making strange noises, she won't idle correctly and you can't get the neutral switch to stay on...

that's kinda how things go with her all the time... I wish I had a *** bike now

this is at 13,600 miles BTW
