A Blast running an NRHS 515 kit set a record at Bonneville, 114 mph, running in the 650cc class, built by Aaron Wilson.

Personally, I put in Pro Series cams, exhaust, intake, etc. I wouldn't say the bolt-on mods blew everyone away, but they did significantly improve the performance. I think I was getting ~36 hp when all is said and done.

With a 44 Mag big bore kit, headwork, good cam and pipe selection, you could prolly push 50 hp. Of course, it would cost more than the bike did on the showroom floor...

Try the XLForum.net. They have a sponsor, NRHS, that has a kit for the Blast.
