making the xb9r bigger...

im a shovel rider-but a wrecked buell came my way-i,ve long been a fan of the redneck mutant series of lowriders and fancy 'just one more' hardtail before i cant ride 'em no more....

has any one here any experience of the AXTELL 1250 kit for these engines-specifically would it work with the stock heads or will i need to budget for specials or will i have to have the stock heads worked to get the most from the bigger slugs?

i will also ask in the drag race section-im new to computers....

Nallin racing, Revolution Performace, GMR, all have excellent cylinder kits for the Buell XB series bikes. Much like the old 883 to 1200 sportster kits, they are bolt in kits, so new heads are not required per se, but you will realize more performance if you have the heads cleaned up.

I have an NRHS 1250 stage 2 kit in my '95 S2. It's not an XB but the older sportster motor, it puts 104 RWHP down to the ground.
The XB kits are similiar, and has better numbers, the heads flow better, give them a call...
