Mutant Buells - Any Builders Doing Them Still?

I used to love what builders did with Buell's, particularly the Mutant scene. Anyone know if this is still as popular as it once was?

I know they have softtail version of there mutant design. I keep hope'n to stumble in to a real cheap buell but as of lately none around. Think i live to close to redneck and they have bought most up around here. They do have one of the more layed back shops you will ever see. Big, open , lots of projects not all bikes. Some cool hotrods. Got to set on the vincent powered bike when they built a couple years back.

I was always a bit disturbed in the way people were destroying the beautiful classic Buells and turning them into worthless chopper junk.. Hopefully the fad is over with.

And destroying a Vincent to build a chopper?? OMG

As near as I can tell it's a chopper based on a Vincent engine.. The bike is beautiful...

I'd love to get my hands on a salvage Buell, then its pick a frame and build your self a sled. anything the pocket book will hold. In my case, not much.

redneck chopper does a really cool no down tube chopper based off of buell engine, and runs a monoshock in the rear. in my opinion the mutants arent all that good looking and are WAY overdone. choppers are supposed to be about being individual and different. thats why i always hated the Big Dogs and Ironhorses. the whole idea of a mass produced chopper is ridiculous.
