BIG thanks to BIG BOYZ Cycles!
I put a call in to the shop tonight about my buildup-per Springers advice yesterday. After a chat with Springer and a lengthly conversation with Bean, im now heading in the right direction. These guys went OUT OF THEIR WAY to help me- advice, recommendations, etc... offered FAR more help than i expected
Some guys will just tell you to send your parts, and hang up- not wanting to help the 'little man' whos trying to do his own work. Not these guys- they are top-notch!! It doesnt get much better, ill tell ya that!
Thanks again, fellas! The favor will be returned ten-fold!!!
P.S.- DANG RIGHT this is a 'plug' for their shop!!

Springer called me on a Sunday after I posted my build experiences the previous day. He immediately noticed that I was given and installed the wrong head gaskets. It sucked to have to take the heads back off but it saved my asss in the long run. And Bean, as many times as I called him during my build he never once made me feel like I was bugging him. He was always happy to talk me through things. A true asset to the industry.

Roger all that, plus they don't try to sell you something you don't need, like bigger valves, stronger springs or more port then you can use.

We're very lucky to have people like this around...taking time from their profession to help us out. Several of the board sponsors are very knowledgable, down to earth, honest types, and I hope they're being repaid for their time and advise by everyone using their businesses. Steve, Bean, Springer, Grock, Silver Bullet, Brian, and a handful of others have made this board a BIG asset for us regular folks. These guys get just about all my business.

I agree, Sent 2 sets of heads to Bean and will send more when the time comes. Some of the best customer service in ANY industry. And that says ALOT when your working with Harley's.

Ditto. Bean offered to have me come up use their tools and maybe get someone to help me tear my bike down to do the head swap. I have also called and asked questions a pile of times. Always available and very helpful. Bought a set of heads from Bean this winter. I am planning on going up there to put them on and get my bike running right.
I bet there are not too many head shops out there that would offer to help you do the wrenching on your bike. Put it up on their lift and tear it down. The value of having someone right in front of you for help tearing down your bike? Pricelessssssssssssssssssssssss
Top notch customer service. Thumbs up to big boyz cycles....
