Do these fit 04 heads or do they take a different seal?

AFAIK there is an incompatible design difference between the beehive style spring arrangement of 2005 - and the previous dual spring set up. Moreover, valve stem diameter is different. IMHO there is not a good reason to attempt this. There are plenty of different valve guide seal choices out there if that's your concern.

Any idea (ballpark) how much the Stealership would charge to install the new seals? Just curious as I have an 05' Road King Classic..........

I asked an independent about the cost of changing seals, as part of a 95" kit. If I remember correctly, I think the estimate was about $100.00, including seals, but of course this would have been with the heads off anyway. I don't know the cost of taking the heads off, but my guess is 2 to 3 hours labor.

Hi Jeff,

They work on '05-'07 heads and possibly '08 (haven't seen them yet). They are $15 for a set of 4 shipped. You would have to call Bean about the manufacture as I am not sure. I do know it is all Bean uses on '05-'07 heads.

Thanks !

If your bike is still under waranty and it uses oil because of the valve seal problem experienced on many 05s the dealer should replace them free of charge.Of course you may convince them to install these seals if you supply them during a waranty fix.
