New formulated Amsoil motorcycle oils

Take a look at these links to learn about the new motorcycle oils. This link is for the new 10w 40 motorcycle oil https://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/mcf.aspx This one is the 20w 50 motorcycle oil https://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/mcv.aspx

Amsoil has experienced tremendous growth in the motorcycle market over the last 3 years or so and has decided to put more design and engineering into this product line for the best oil available that the general public can get their hands on. I sometimes have a hard time understanding how Amsoil can improve on the previous formulations, but after looking at the data it looks like they have exceeded the quality and performance standards of the previous oils. I just received an oil sample report from a 2003 Electra glide classic Harley that went 9712 miles on one Amsoil oil change using our previous formulation and the report showed nearly non existent wear and could be used much longer. How can you get any better than that? I have several oil sample documentation from motorcycles over the last several years that have supported Amsoil's claims of reduced wear and longer oil service so I have the confidence after 24 years of using their products to believe what they are claiming with these new oils. I just had one of my customers drop by in his rice burner that installed the new 10w 40 motorcycle oil in his bike yesterday and he is going to have to turn down the RPM by 100. This is a carb unit and so the computer doesn't control the RPM like in a fuel injected model. This brings back memories of when I first used Amsoil in my cars back in 1981. It was common practice to have to bring the idles down after changing over to Amsoil. Of course this isn't the case any longer due to computers and fuel injection. I will be changing the oil in the crankcase, tranny, and the primary tomorrow in my road king even though it has many more miles I could use the existing oil that is in it. I will report back on anything I learn from this new product.

I have heard some concerns from dealers about the higher price and the fact that we were selling the heck out of the old stuff so why change. First of all if we were like the other oil companies selling only on price we would be putting ourselves at a disadvantage, but when people buy our products they are generally looking for the best value and performance out there. It is easier to stay status quoa than to be a leader and make everyone else follow you. This is a big step for Amsoil to make this kind of change when they are at the top of their game. By my estimates, they are selling more synthetic motorcycle oil than any other company in the country presently. Let me hear your comments and concerns about this new motorcycle oil.

Now with this said I am still offering the free six month preferred customer membership with Amsoil so you will get dealer prices on the oil like I have done for forum members for the last couple of years that I have sponsored this site. Also for past customers and members I am still giving everyone wholesale prices right to their doorstep even if they haven't renewed their wholesale memberships. I would like to thank all the members who have used me for their Amsoil needs over the last couple of years.

I hope sometime this year. They have added new filters to the off road bike market recently and hope they are looking at the on road bike market.
