The same parts should work for a carb, but add up the prices first. When you add them up I get about $60 just for the parts (no filter yet). Add another $40 for a filter and you're up to $100. I got a Ness Big Suck for $97, and could probably get cheaper if I looked harder. I don't think they added for 2 banjo bolts ($10 each) 3 filter bolts ($8 each). Good Luck..
