I have an 02 FXST with 16000 miles. Used AMOIL in all 3 holes
since 800 miles at the first service. Dealer installed AMSOIL for
me as I provided the Oil.
I have noticed too, the Amsoil runs cooler ( average 190 to 250)
than other oils I have seen.
I rode 911 ride in NYC last year, Holland tunnel, New York city
traffic and oil temp gage in tank read 250. still no ping or heat
problems.
