Also, for anyone interested, the dealer MSRP for the SERT is $459. I checked with the local HD folks on that. But if you go to Surdyke HD they have all parts at 20% off if you order through the web. That means only $370 for the SERT.
Thanks again,

John, I'll try to break this to you gently, the quick answer is
NO, from Post #1
"WARNING Objects in this post may seem more confusing than they really are.
This post is not to teach you everything you ever wanted to know about a SERT. Instead it is to give you some insight into what a SERT is and what to expect. The SERT version used is 4.12.
If you have specific question about the SERT, I would suggest you download the PDF file at the end of the post, it is the SERT manual."
The manuals are in Post #8 ...........
Also, read Post #53 for a more in depth reply .......
As for buying a SERT, they are on EBAY all the time, just search for Race Tuner, expect to pay $340 - $350 although if the demand is low on a particular day you may just get a bargain.
Another place for online purchase is
https://www.zanottimotor.com/shopping/partLookUp.html type in 32107-01D and you will see $357, plus you are assured of getting the latest CD, if required for your 2006 models.
Now, a question from me, I have managed to connect to install SERT, connect to the bike, get the ECM infromation BUT when I go to program the ECM, it gets to 30% and freezes
I have tried that twice and had to Cntl-Alt-Del to end the program. Also, I had to disconnect the battery to re-set the ECM.
Anybody have any ideas on this? I will be checking the COM port speed settings today,
Thanks, John
