I used to hear all that talk also about it being a "girl's bike". But as life went I now own an 82 XLH with some goodies packed in the case's. And I now kick my self in the a** for not just getting one ever time I was just short of affording a big twin. I love the sporty and will never give it up . I know she ain't the fastest one but I have really pissed-off some *** crotch rocket's. I even one day while at a light this summer. Was waiting for the light to turn, then a couple of punk's on ***'s pull-up. They start the "girly crap" then do a smoke show. So with out a second though I light it up, while the light turn's green I just leaned back slightly an roared off into a wheelie. They fallowed me to the corner store and started out with a big WOW that was awsome from a harley. I just replied "yeah and it was in second gear on a four speed" From that they just stood there dumb founded. It made my day to say the least.
