What kind of oil are you using? I am wondering if it would peg out with a synthetic in the cooler weather. I am thinking about trying the Amsoil straight 60 weight in my 01 road king to see if I can achieve an even quieter running motor than it is right now and then if that doesn't do the trick I will increase the oil pressure with the stronger relief spring.
