I am in the process of buying an 02 King classic and am a little concerned with the Dephi system in this year causing a conflict with the VIN..I sure dont wanna have to take it in to the dealer and go through all that trying to convince them of what I want... Ha

What you need to do is bring the bike to the dealer and have them use the digital tech pc to install a stock flash again with your vin number and mileage. And they need your interface from the race tuner you bought to do this. After that you should be able to use your version 4.1.2 software on your bike. This is a common problem when using the SERT with 01, 02 and 03 bikes. Depending on the dealer, you might be able to bring just the ECM and interface and they can power it up on another bike. Not all dealers will do this.
