I am still somewhat in a toss up between the PCIII and the SERT, but i'm definately less intimidated of the SERT now and will re-look at it now with wiser eyes....
I am in the process of buying an 02 King classic and am a little concerned with the Dephi system in this year causing a conflict with the VIN..I sure dont wanna have to take it in to the dealer and go through all that trying to convince them of what I want... Ha

Don't worry too much about it, it is a known problem and with a little direction the dealer won't have a problem fixing it. The Moco has asked the dealers to do this service free of charge. And if you buy it from that dealer they shouldn't have a problem with it. I have actually dropped off just the ECM at a dealer and they plugged it in to someone elses bike and programed the VIN I gave them. But I don't think many will do that. There are posts on here that describe what to tell them at the dealer to get it fixed, I will see if I can find it.
