PO said that he bought a wrecked drive train just for the motor and the trany been sitting on his garage floor last few years. It sure looks like it ... he has no knowledge of internals.
If it's a shovel trans, then its 82-83 and some early 84's (dry clutch).
In working order, with the primary, clutch and other internals, $400-$450. For just a trans out of the scooter, as in unknown working order, $100-200. Might bring $400 on Ebay.
It costs shoooo to make those early 5 speeds right. So there isn't much value in them, unless someone is doing a restore.
