I found an Arlen Ness 3" ext kit for mine...not sure if they make kit for '06 bob. It was < $300 but can't remember exact price. Came with black aluminum ext plates, extended shift lever and a longer braided stainless rear brake line. Easy install (no messin with rear master cyl) and problem free since '02 install.
