HD 28T pulley kit

Very well tuned in the midrange reaching 70 ft-lbs @ 3800 rpm and 80.5 ft-lbs @ 6500 rpm. Peak HP = 111 @ 7800 but the dyno was having trouble above 8000 rpm, it's an old DJ150 that rarely sees more than 6000 rpm. The tech estimated ~115 - 118 HP on the top end if the dyno wasn't acting up.

I should have a better chart and possibly a finer tuned map in a couple of weeks after I spend some quality time on an eddy current dyno.

Map Name:
127LF004-2j.MT5 (v4.10)

Application:
General: 2005 Touring and FLSTSi
Specific bike this map was tuned in: 2005 FLHTCUI w/ SE A/C, V&H Basic Slip-Ons

Parts List:
SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C
V&H Basic Slip-Ons

Description:
Flat 13.5 AFR Dyno tuned map (runs very well with a really strong midrange, 72.31 HP, 75.58 TQ), modified by me after the tune to get rid of very minor popping during decel, high RPM upshift and when blipping the throttle from idle during downshifts and before takeoff. With this setup, better minds than mine have said that there will be some popping, and they are, of course, right. I do believe that I've got it to the absolute minimun possible, though. You really have to be listening for it during upshifts and when blipping the throttle, and it's rare now, even at that. Decel, NONE above 2k (unless you shut down at very high rpm in a low gear, in which case you wanted to be obnoxious, and even my carbed Wide Glide would do it then). Very slight burble below 2k, but I attacked it from every direction, down to using .5 increments, and this is just the best I can do.
Changes from the dyno map are contained in the tuning notes for the Front and Rear VE Tables, where all of the changes were made. Redline is 6200 RPM.

Many thanks to GRock, hdmd88, Steve Cole and others for their invaluable assistance.

Since the '05s use MT5 Files and the site won't let me upload them (hint), the file is zipped.

NOTE: New v4.12 map version posted further down in this thread, Post #13. V4.12 of the software is Part Number 32117-01D, $19.95. The 4.12 map is WAY better, virtually popless.

REALLY Final v4.12 Map.

Map Name:
127LF004-A1u.MT5

Application:
General: 2005 Touring and FLSTSi
Specific bike this map was tuned in: 2005 FLHTCUI w/ SE A/C, V&H Basic Slip-Ons

Parts List:
SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C
V&H Basic Slip-Ons

Modified version of my dyno tuned 13.5 AFR map, pretty well popless. All I did was decrement the factory decel enleanment table by 23 at all settings above 32C, added 1.5 to the rear cyl 2% VE below 2k. Had to decrement the front VE 0% above 3k by 8 to compensate for the decel enleanment changes, as well as some 0% VE adjustment below 2k. It's all in the notes.
Runs very well with a really strong midrange, 72.31 HP, 75.58 TQ.

NOTE: This is my final map. No kiddin' this time! No pops, no issues. Enjoy! Posted 4/23/05.

v4.12 Map

Map Name:
127HO103-A1-Blkn.MT5

Application:
05 Softail Deluxe

Components:
D&D 2-Into-2 'Power Pipe' XHP EXHAUST SYSTEM
Maximum performance staggered dual systems with 1-3/4" head pipes that enlarge to 1-7/8" then connect to 2-1/8" muffler sections. Multi-step design boosts midrange torque

SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C

Description:
Modified stage one map. Bike runs great!! No pops or burbles. I would imagine this map would be a great starting point for any 05 softail's that have SE Air Cleaner's and high flowing pipes. Eventually I will have the bike dynoed to see what kind of HP/TQ and AFR its pushing. The elevation in my area is 620 feet.

Thanks to MegaGlide and Grock for their invaluable assistance

'01 - '04 Touring 88" Stage 1 - 4.12 Map

Map Name:

Specific bike this map was tuned in: 2004 FLHPi

Parts List:

Wild Pig Slip-Ons

Based on MegaGlide's excellent 4.12 map, 127LF004-A1g.MT5, for '05 models. Slightly decremented decel enleanment from 80-128 deg C. Redline set to 6K. Still some slight "burbling" at 2-3.5 K on deccel but pretty damned close.

Thanks to MegaGlide for his work and permission to base this off his work.

Map Name: 105HG017-AO.RG1.mt2

Running on 2002 Road Glide...

At 27k miles installed 95" bored cylenders with flat top pistons, SE Performance heads (cheapest ones), 211 SE cam, Rinehart Tru-Duals and SE air cleaner.

Dealer who did work this winter loaded (105HG017-AO.mt2) and dyno ran the bike. It put out Max HP @ 86.2 and Torque@ 91.6. Put 2000 + miles on RG in March in Daytona. Did a buck ten easy, however, from 2100 to 2800 RPM, ran like ****, bucking and skipping. Couldn't ride it around town, only 3000 RPM +. Brought it back, they put it back on the dyno, took it home, same result.

Screw it, figure it out myself. You can't retrieve the map once it is in ECM, unless they give you the file that was loaded, you've got to start over. I tried many of the files on the install disk, load and road test. The one I ended with was 105HG017-AO.mt2 from the disk. I modified (enriched about 4 units) the AF Ratio both cyclinders from 2000 RPM to 2750 RPM and MAP from 20 - 50. Tuned at sea level.

May be slightly rich now in that range, but I prefer a little rich to lean. Top end still there, no pinging and driveable in lower range now. Here is the file...

Map Name:
3287002.MT2

Application:
2005 FLHRI Road King 95"

Parts List:
SE 1550 Cast Flat Top Pistons
SE 1550 Cylinders
Stock Heads and Cams
SE Breather and Air Cleaner
Rinehart True-Duals w Stock Baffles

Description:
This map is based on the Dyna 95" map. I had severe popping with the stock RK 95" map and got some help from folks here and loaded and tweaked the 95" Dyna map. Decel cut 50%, AFR down to 14.1 where it was more. I think that's it. Bike runs mucho better and only slight burbling on very aggressive decel. No popping at all and it runs better on the top end. I feel like it can be improved a bit but the bike runs great and it is enjoyable so I am good with this for now.

SERT Map For 95" RK With Rinehart True Duals

This map is the result of repeated cycles of riding, tweaking, riding some more, tweaking a little more, etc. over the course of the last month or so at predominantly highway speeds. This is an update of the previous map I posted and supercedes that version.

The overall Air Fuel map was richened up slightly, injector size changed from 4.22 to 4.35, decel enleanment tweaked a little more to take care of leftover residual popping and burbling, and idle speed adjusted to a more desirable (lower) speed that doesn't shake you out of the saddle like the stock setting did. It also runs cooler because it doesn't continue to idle so high after warmup. Performance is up compared to the first map and throttle response is crisp with a good bark through the pipes. It sounds and feels "right" to me and my feeling is that the only way this is getting any better is on the Dyno.

Build:
2005 Road King FLHRI
SE 1550 Cast Flat Top Pistons
SE 1550 Cylinders
Stock Heads and Cams
SE Breather and Air Cleaner
Rinehart True-Duals w Stock Baffles

25 DEGREE INJECTORS!!!

Description:
This is a modified version of the map #52 provided by HD in the Race Tuner.

Notes:
This is the map I am currently running on my Street Glide. I was running a great MAP until I had the 25 degree injectors installed. This is just my modifications to the stage 1 25 degree injector map, done by me, no dyno, no pit crew, no nada. This is the best I can do from reading the manual and reading Springer's post on the SERT. I have about 300 miles on this MAP and it's running good but I think there is more power to be found by making some slight changes in timing but right now --- it ain't broke!

I documented all of my changes in the notes section for each table. I would appreciate any feedback on how it looks to the experts out there, or if you run this on your bike and you like it, let me know. Remember, you load this at your own risk, but it's working good for me.

If anyone needs the 8 degree MAP I was running, shoot me an email.~!Awesome!
UPDATE= Due to popular demand, I attached the 8 degree MAP I was running before changing the injectors.
