Never heard of an adjustment on the SE pipes but that doesnt mean there isnt. Just never heard of it. If they do not work out I have the Pythons and love them. Not to loud but have a good tone and when you really get on it they can put out some good deep louder sound. Got them because I like my tunes and wanted something that would let someone know I was there but would not be so loud I could not hear my CDs or readio.
