Cell Phone Fines
Diggerpine here; Not to go off the beaten path, but ever since they passed a law in California that it was illegal to be talking on a hand-held cell phone, the state/county has been getting revenue from the fines. According to the information I read, a $20 fine for using a hand-held cell-phone will blossom into $103 after court costs, administration fees, etc. A lot of people are upset that they are told that the fine is $20 until they get to court to pay the fine. The $20 is just for the base cost of the fine, then it goes up from there. If you want to continue talking on a hand-held cell phone...It's gonna cost ya!
