Out of curiosity
How would the same scenario work out in the US?
Would his insurance cover it?
Would it depend on the type of cover?
What if he had no insurance?
This is obviously a very expensive drug, before the NHS has said no. I'm curious if there is a situation in the US where the guy wouldn't get it there either.
