There have been some poignant, thoughtful and caring replies here, and I think that speaks volumes about this community. We may bicker and toss barbs from time to time, depending on any number of things we disagree about. But, in the end, if a fellow member seeks help (I'm not saying Fred is asking for a lifeline; maybe he's just tossing out a question), the troops rally around.
