Air horns work nicely and take no more time than to roll the throttle on one's extra loud pipes. I like a little more rumble than stock, but I really don't like extra loud....my pipes or others. I would guess in pretty much all anecdotes describing "LPSL" situations, that air horns would have worked just as well. Of course, air horns aren't willy enhancing like super loud pipes are.
