Here we go again...debating whether gas looses octane over time

Guys, put some facts and data on the table if you're going to make such claims. I just returned from 5200 mile trip to Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Many of the gas stations I filled up at were located in very remote places, and the best I could get was 91 octane. I had NO, I repeat NO problems with gas and I'm running higher than stock compression.
