hozeheads is on a distinguished road
Well, I have now finally got the bike out to see how everything is with the Xied's. I did about a total of 175 miles, so I removed the plugs and they looked perfect, exhaust tip color looks great.

I was out in 97 deg.heat w/humid conditions in stop and go traffic. I did about 10 miles and never went over 50 mph, when I got home the temp.guage said 217 deg's I thought that was pretty good after all it was dam hot out. I did the same run with my shovelhead(the next day) and the old bike saw 185 deg. w/the temp.guage and for my shovel thats about as high as I have ever seen it. I still get popping on decel but not bad.

If you don't know, I'm running v&h big rads pipes & doherty a/c unit and now Xied's. I also have a oil cooler & I'm also using 93 octane fuel. I still say half of all our problems are that the fuel sucks. Ever since they took 94 octane off the market my old shovel just does'nt run the same and now I get some pop out the carb, and I never got that before, but that's for another thread.

Very happy with the Xied's.

Many thanks to Steve at Nightrider.
