T-Max install and crazy question!
Ok, got the Tmax installed in a 07 RK with Reinhardt Slip Ons, and Stage I air cleaner. Map #524 without any other changes just initialization and go.
Here is my question......what does "pre-det" pinging sound like on a Harley. I am very framiliar with car engine pre-det and pinging, but here is the closest comparision to what I have on my bike:
Does anyone remember what the old VW bugs sounded like at their exhaust. Kind of a high pitch "echo" quater falling in a glass sound?
I hear that on my bike especially when I am riding over a bridge and the echo off the walls brings it in clear.
