Here's what the manual says:
Writing new or modified maps to the module requires the system to be re-initialized (Step 7), and any existing learned fuel and IAC adjustments to be cleared (Map Editing, clear). Linking and editing an existing map within the module does not require above steps.
Once you clear the IAC as stated above, then you would need to re-do the warm up. I've loaded modified versions of my map many times and not had to re-do the warm up procedure, and my IAC always worked fine. I would always do it with a new (different) map load though.
