I use a standard craftsman opener and wired a circuit into the horn button. My craftsman opener has a momentary switch with 4 prongs, I soldered 2 wires to the momentary switch on the opener and ran each of them to the horn circuit, one before and one after the horn button, the horn button completes the circuit when pressed just like pushing the opener button. I then simply tied the craftsman opener inside my speedo housing. When I come home I just honk the horn and the door goes up.
