Interesting you would say that after the info I've given. Not that I'm the now all, because I'm not. But I have built 3 performance engines that ran well, and I also have the kit in my present bike with the 103", SE255 cams at 10 to 1. Don't believe me? Call Mike Stegman at Latus motors, he has built many of these kits sold by Harley (you can verify the dyno sheets on their website). In fact he's the one that told me they come at 10 to 1 and the tuning has to be spot on due to that fact.

My bike runs excellent and has no pinging. But if I were to do it again, I would put in compression releases since it cranks pretty hard on a hot start.

Also don't compare the 110" to the 103", it's a different kit. The heads are different in the 110 as is the swept volumn, so it's not the same.
