(The name of the game is velocity! Do a 1:1 dyno pull (usually 5th gear) and check 2,500 to 5,500 rpm in real time. The big port/big valve heads will usually do this in 8 to 8-1/2 seconds while the smaller port/valve R&R heads will do this in 5 to 5-1/2 seconds.)
Not sure what you are saying but if you want to win on the track you better be turning over 5500 rpm.
