I don't know if I am a master, but I will try to help out.
If it is loosing the program, then there maybe and issue with the battery or the prom.
If I remember right, you can send that version 11 to Vance and Hines for an Upgrade to version 12 for like 30 bucks.
But I would call them and ask, it may need to be repaired as well.
