I'ts way heavier than that. I think the acitone was a mistake. It melted the heavystuff and it smeared . I had had luck polishing out gouges and scratches on sport bikes but when I tried the same procedure on my detachable the tinting was on not in the plastic. Wet or dry sanding took away the tint. If I knew the tint was in the polymere, I could sand and polish it out. In fact, does anyone have the answer to that. That would solve everything if the whole piece is full of tint.
