Howdy im larry from south carolina. it all started in 1974. I was 15 my buds and I were at the HD dealer and they had a wrecked chopper for $500.00 so I went and told my Dad and he borrowed the money to get it. now Im talking about a whole bike not just a wheel or something. we worked on it for 3 months and got it running.then i worked on it till I went in the USMC in 76. I screwed around and sold it to my friend in79. he still has the engine in a restored, ole style handshift. it was 59 engine in a 47 frame, 14 over Harley springer. hand shift. Ive had 2 sports over the years a71& a 2000. recently a friend had 2 cars stolen from his property and asked if I wanted his 49 pan chopper before it got gone . so I said Hell Yea! ive wanted that thing for 30 years. it needs a lot of work and i aint got much money so things are slow going. but i really love this bike,its a Jammer frame, wide glide, hand shift. 9" over. good luck to all gear heads
