Do a search on "bad service at harley dealerships" on yahoo or google, you`ll find more stories than one could ever read in a lifetime, on how many bad dealerships ther are, out there. DynaWille chimed in hear earlier... he had lived in my area, he`s not lying about how bad it is here. I`ve never ever walked into a dealership with a bad attitude towards them... mainly because i`m just not that kind of person, but my patience IS wearing very thin with them.
Its getting harder to have a good attitude when your getting it stuck in your azz with every trip to these HD dealers. Like i said in an earlier thread/post, i still believe that ther ARE some nice HD dealers out there, they`er just not here in MY area. They just cant ALL be that bad.
Lately i`ve learned to buy my parts on-line so i dont have to deal with their attitudes much anymore. I fix ALL of our bikes on my own... being that these dealerships cant fix them anyway, so i`m better off doing them myself... and it also saves me from another frustrating day at the dealer.
Sometimes i think i feel really bad for the people that CANT fix their own bikes... they are stuck feeding the big orange/black machine called the HD motor co. You`d be surprised how many harley`s get traded in at the *** bike shops around here.... and i think its pretty funny how you hear these dealers say its been another bad year for them...lol (hmmmm geez i wonder why...lol go figure...lol)
But, then again,
real bikers wrench and ride their own bikes too, dont they...lol.
Hey take care... and ride safe my friend
