cts1950 is on a distinguished road
I stopped by my local dealer this afternoon and asked about the TC 88 and the TC 88 A and was told there is no such thing as a TC 88 with no suffix. I had them pull the parts manual out for a 99 and a 2000 and showed them the difference and they still refused to call it a non a model. The problem is most of the people in the parts department have not been around long enough to know any thing about a motor that is 9 years old going on 10. I am sure that the people who put together the cam support kit had over looked the fact that the original TC 88 was different. For what it is worth my delkron plate was drilled and tapped for a plug to fill this opening.
If you have a good store specializing in screws and fasteners you should be able to get a 1/16" pipe tap and Allen type pipe plug. Tap the hole and lock tight the plug in. Or get a thread displacing fine thread self tapping screw and a copper washer to seal the hole.
