Hi there again boriqua_biker...
i am so very greatful...!!!! Can you email me at LU5150FX@YAHOO.COM
Then i can figure out how i can get you paid for that kit i need (???)

As for the dealer issue`s around here in NY, dynawillie aint lying one bit... he`s lived in the area i live, and these dealers around here have huge attitudes. I go into the *** bike dealers and get treated like a king, and i havent bought anything from most of them, BUT they still treat me WAYYYY better than any harley dealers around here EVER have.

People that know me personally, know me as a really super laid back nice person, until my buttons get pushed, (and that takes ALOT to even do that too) BUT that goes without saying for anybody.

My wife`s bike had been to the dealer 9 times for a speed sensor issue and they still couldnt fix it... finally i bought the speed sensor and fixed it myself. I even told them what was wrong with it too, and what would fix it...! I understand that they cant go on MY word, an THEY have to diagnois it themselve`s... but 9 trips back to the dealership for the same problem in less than a 3 week span is bullshitt in my book. Where do they find these idiots anyway.

They tried to fix her gas gauge on another occassion (04 softail EFI - float stuck) an they reused the original gasket, screws, plastic screw seals on the top of the tank... we drove to the gas station, filled the bike, gas poured out of the tank where they re-used the old gasket. Needless to say, right back to the dealer we went. I asked them for a new gasket and screws (w/new plastic seals for the screws, which they didnt replace either) took the bike home, fixed it correctly once again, per the shop manuel. And can you believe they never even cracked the shop manuel open to do this job...? I asked them to look it up, they have spec`s to re-torque that top plate, but they told me they never had one come back with a leak... imagine THAT...!

Sometimes the warranty just isnt worth the hassle if you know what i meen. Her other 2 harleys she`bought brand new, they couldnt fix either of those either. We ended up paying out of pocket on our own and fixing them both at home too. You can only do this for so long before your buttons finally get maxed out..., BUT i still walk into those dealerships with a more than good attitude towards them even though they`ve screwed me everytime, because i`m just the kinda person that just keeps letting the water go over the dam so to speak. I am a VERY forgiving person because we`re only human.... but enough is enough.

So after this episode with this $450 billet camplate & oilpump kit yesterday, you can see why i`ve gotten a lil flustard over how i was treated after i spent all this money at those dealerships. My wife has added up what we`ve spent over the past 7 years... new bikes, clothing, parts & accessories = over $130,000.00

How would YOU feel after all that... and this is only a drop in the bucket, of what my wife and others have gone thru around here. We arent the only ones... i hear and read tons of whore`stories all the time how people are treated like shitt at alot of the harley dealers, especially when they really need parts or their bikes fixed right.

I do agree that ther ARE some good HD dealers out there, because i met some good people at this newly owned dealership today... i was greeted instantly, and they had a GREATFUL kind of care and type of attitudes... maybe its just because they are new and they took over the past dealership recently, but time will tell. I went in there last year when they first opened, only bought an oil filter and some oil and when i went in there today, (a year later) they STILL knew my first name...!!!! They chated with me for over an hour before i could get out of there... and they made me feel like i was wanted at their dealership. That meen`s ALOT...! I can only hope they stay that way, an not become the norm like the rest of the HD dealerships i`ve been in, in the past 7 years.

Anyhow, i`m just babbling on here... email me, and i`ll get some cash out to you for that sub support kit buddy.... and once again, i am SOOOO very greatful of you offering to do this for me. This forum and its people on here have been so awesome to me... i am forever greatful to ALL of you guyz
