My guess (and understand, that's what this is, based on seeing other early Dyna pipes mounted on FXR's) would be that either would fit--especially if you have the means to fabricate a bracket as necessary. I would imagine that either of these pipes sets would involve a transmission bracket of some sort to hang the mufflers from. If theirs doesn't work, and you can make a bracket that does work, then you're done,

Me, I'd contact the manufacturers by phone (not the ebay sellers, but Rinehart and Samson) and ask them if the rear mount is on the transmission or exacly where/how. Then you'll have a better idea.

[edit to add] I'd also call or visit your local dealer and get the part number for your transmission. Then get the part number for early Dyna transmissions. If they're the same, you can probably figure that any set of pipes for an early dyna that uses a trans mount, will also fit your FXR.
