They sound good but they are loud. That price is just for the pipes. Even though they are "step tuned" they are still drag pipes (straight through). You still would have to fork out money for mufflers or tuning cones. And another $40 for the tool to install them. You would think for $500 it would come with all that.
I can't complain though, I got my set on eBay for $300 so I think I'll try the tuning cones for a little back pressure and as for the tool I think I can make one.
It just looks like a stick with tabs on the end.
I won't be able to comment on the performance until I get the tuning cones.
I'll let you know then.
