Yes...anyone can install it, but it takes an extra step to ensure that there aren't any intake and/or exhaust leaks. This can adversly affect your results. If you don't feel the least cofident installing it yourself, take it to your local dealer to have them install it for you. Therefore, if it is not installed properly, it is on them.

My only complaint was that my right side muffler blued. The bike ran great I put 4500 miles on it on a road trip in and out of the west coast mountains and it run flawlessly just as yours. I was told by a tech that the muffler blued because of the stock exhaust dumping both cylinders primarily into the right side. I added the true duals this winter in hopes of curing that problem but then I start hearing from several people my problem wasn't the stock exhaust it was because it was running too lean. I am just trying to make sure I am covering all my bases that is why I am asking questions. I'm getting close to being able to start to ride so when I get it out of the garage and put some miles on it I will be able to tell a little better if it is running well. By the way Jaybo can I ask what program is your fuel pack set to. Thanks!
