hi everybody. I have FatBoy '07 and i just installed the K&N RK-3909 air cleaner. Since I live in Italy, the airbreather backplate has a flap that regulate the intake air (it's a solenoid, so it fully opens or partially closed - 2 only positions).
Afetr having installed the K&N I left unplugged the control of such a solenoid, therefore the "Engine" light is always on on the dashboard.
If I replug the connector (and hold the backplate) the light turns off. So it sounds as the loop of the circuit is under control of the electronics.
I have 2 choices:
1) take the solenoid out of the backplate, plug the connectore and hold it all somwhere (but this would mean to brake the backplate...)
2) shortcut the free-end plug by installing a resistors, but in this case I wonder to know the Ohm and Watt of it...
ANY CLUE?
