I am not the one that can go into great detail about the workings but...you will need the free flow aircleaner set up and the pipes. What i did is to email V&H and tell them my set up. Engine and any mods. They have setting for many, many different set ups. They emailed me back with the values. I used the SE pipes. I did itmyself and it was a breeze. I am a fair cook book wrench, but the book has to be on the right page. I got the stage one down load but I am not sure that is nec. It's all reversable. Not a lot more power. Just smoother and it gave me a sense of being more at ease with my bike. I have a 2007 so it is different than what you have. I have no desire to speed up the bike, just to have it run cooler and kinder to the engine parts. I am sure Jeff will blink at this and give a reply. (left handed of course)
