Aimoil is good stuff, I use Mobil 1 myself, in all the tests I have seen on the two, there is very little difference between the two, but I get the Mobil through my distributor at work for less then 7 bucks a quart.
As too warranty, Unless the non-stock part was the root cause of the failure, they still have to cover the stock part that failed.
E.I. If you replace the stock cam with a high lift Andrews or even a SE cam, and say a valve spring breaks. If the lift is too high for the stock spring to handle, that is not Harley's fault, and not covered.
If you Install a set of aftermarket spark plugs, and the tip of the plug breaks off into the cylinder and causes damage to the piston and cylinder, that is not Harley's fault, but the plug manufacture you would have a claim with.
On the other hand, if your Throttle Position sensor goes bad, and you have a Fuelpak on your bike, the fuelpak can not hurt that part, and Harley still needs to warranty that part.
One last thing, the extended warranty's Harley dealers sell are just Insurance policies, like the ones car dealers sell, there not Harley run, it is an aftermarket deal. And as long as you have your mods done before you buy the policy, I would think they would have no choice to cove it, as it is in the same state as when you bought the policy.
Just read through the policy before you buy it.
