25 years ago I owned a hotrod ironhead Sporty, I now own a tc88 Road King.
Each bike is made for a different purpose.
The Sporty is a fine bike and a lot of fun running in the mountains or bar hopping. You can also add a lot of hp for a little $.
Plus I believe the Sportster has been around longer than any other bike model.
Ignore the ignorant people and enjoy your ride.
