Just thought of something

For Softails, the installation basically is to replace the ECM tray with a deeper one so that the ECM with the Fuelpak stacked on top won't be higher than the original ECM height. That puts the tray closer to the rear tire. It is possible for the tire to hit the deeper tray? Say you have a passenger and you hit a pothole and bottom the rear suspension. I'm assuming V&H thought of that but just asking.

From reading other forums, people should be wary of using the Fuelpak if your engine, exhaust, and air filter combination doesn't match an existing configuration. It can be frustrating trying to get V&H to hack a configuration that works for you.

I'm probably going to change the SE mufflers for a V&H ProPipe next year so I'm good for the long run with the Fuelpak.
