Sorry to hear about the weather! Hope you can get back to So Cal soon. About the new ride, IMHO stick to the Fatboy. Clean lines, solid wheels (no spoke tightening, trueing, etc) and don't go EFI; heck of a lot easier to work on and modify. Ultimately your decision and as long as it's a 1/4 ton of throbbing American steel between the legs, it's OK!
