Hmmmm, I wonder if the actual communication protocal is open sourced? If its a two way system, and I believe it has to be, at least partially, it "should" be possible to interogate the ECM's EPROM directly to see exactly what's in there.
I don't have a SERT or the software, yet, so can anyone who has one look on the CD and tell me if the "canned" MAP's on there include one for a plain Jane Stage 1 SE pipe and AC upgrade? If so its probably more trouble to try to figure out how to interogate the ECM for the stock MAP then its worth.

BTW they released a ECM MAP update for the early 07 bikes. I had it done to mine and it does make the bike run better/cooler.
Has anyone thought to ask a friendly dealer tech if they could make a copy of it for them on a diskette? That would get a copy of the latest stock MAP to start experimenting with and fall back on if all else fails. Assuming that its downloaded to them in a format the SERT's program can read, and they can copy it to a diskette for you.

Sorry if any of these questions have been asked already, I read the whole thread, but I'm still a little fuzzy on some of the little details.

Getting older is a PITA I'm losing the hair on my head, but growing fuzz on the brain, or maybe its just from wearing a helmet too much. Thanks for the patience.

yes, there are MAPs for stock motor with stage 1 air cleaner, and pipes.
and you can make adjustments to every table, if you feel the need.

The only adjustments I made were to make the AFR table for both cylinders richer, and I also advanced the timing 2* across the board.
and I did lower my idle a little bit to 975rpm when the engine is at operating temp.

I also bought the DTT twinscan II+ and Wego IID, to street tune my bike.
I made my first run yesterday!
