How often do you change

Hi, I have been reading a lot of the posts in this forum and every time the new models talk come up, I see that o lot of people change bikes every year or al least that what it looks like, here in Mexico when you buy a HD it is supposed to last at least 5 years before you think on a new one ( 15 to 20% up from the US prices) , the economy here is very diferent fron that in the US, we dont have access to a lot of loans or the ones that are avaiable have rates in the double digit range, so my question is:
How often do you change your bike, and if you buy one, do you trade it or keep the old one?

Had the last bike for 16 years. Bought my first Harley last year & then sold the Honda.

I dont look at it as in years, I go by miles on bike. I start looking at new bikes when I get to 75k miles. I'm on my 3rd H-D. 99 Ultra. I never keep the old one, I have been able to sell my other bikes to other people.

now if its underwear youre talking about i try for once a day. in high heat situations i may go for twice or more as necessary. the boxer briefs have been much kinder than regular briefs in all situations and afford me more comfort on high mileage days. they do take up a bit more space when packing though. when dropping trou in public they offer a fashionable statement in black or gray and blend well with my harley t-shirt collection.
