Headliner speculation...
There was an article in today's Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel with some speculation on the identity of the headliner for the Sunday party.
Some names that had been mentioned include the Rolling Stones and Elton John. The Stones (unfortunately) seem unlikely, as they are playing a tour in Europe at the moment, with dates on either side of Sunday the 31st. Flying the group, equipment, roadies, etc. back and forth in time would seem to be a very tall order, if not outright impossible.
Elton John is a possibility: When contacted by the newspaper, his publicity people seemed well aware of the events in Milwaukee, although they claimed they could not comment.
According to the article, there are only four people in all of Harley-Davidson who know the identity of the headlining act, and the company isn't even saying who those people are...
When looking over the list of entertainers that have been announced, one group is notable by its absence: ZZ Top. The Texas trio has been a fixture of prior Harley events, and I would be very suprised if they did not appear on Sunday, as a warm-up act, if not the headliners.
